The proposal is for a new scheme which will provide approx. 110 rooms in total. The mass of the new building has been considered regarding daylight and sunlight and rights of light explored in the design of the Mews to comply with the existing consent.
The proposed entrance is from Finchley Road to reception and café, at Level 2 of the building whereas service access is provided from Belsize Road at Level 0.
The stepped profi le of the building provides the opportunity for green /brown roofs to provide visual amenity to the surrounding existing buildings and help blend the proposal into the exiting context.
